EDUCATION & TRAINING:

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and School Counselor. I have a
Master of Education in School Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Prior to transitioning into counseling, I spent five years in the business world and earned my
Bachelor of Business Administration from Villanova University. I take pride in having changed
professions after working hard to determine my career values.

COUNSELING APPROACH:

I gravitate toward a strengths-based approach to counseling, which means that I help

individuals to identify and celebrate their abilities rather than focusing on their deficits. I use

various counseling approaches such as Solutions-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral

Therapy. I also like to incorporate mindfulness and psychoeducation, helping clients to

understand the “why” behind their feelings. At the core of my helping relationships lies a focus

on empathy, unconditional acceptance, and a genuine sense of positive regard.

AREAS OF EXPERIENCE:

I offer services to individuals, including children, adolescents, and adults.

The following are some of the areas my services include:

  • Anxiety

  • Perfectionism

  • Self-esteem

  • Life transitions

  • Identity formation

  • ADHD

  • Relationships (couples, poly, and ENM)
